Human coronaviruses are a family of viruses that cause illnesses like a common cold. Almost everyone gets one of these viruses at some point in their lives, and most of the time, the sickness only lasts for a short time. The reason health officials are concerned is that the virus is new, which makes it hard to predict how it will continue to affect people. Researchers and doctors are learning more about it every day, including exactly how it spreads and who is most at risk.
While there is still no vaccine for COVID-19, there are still some things you can do to help prevent your kids from getting sick.

-Wash your hands often with water and soap for at least 20 seconds, and if soap and water are unavailable, use hand sanitizer.
-Keep your kids away from the ones who are sick, or keep them at home if they are sick.
-Teach kids to cough and sneeze into a tissue, or to cough and sneeze into their arm or elbow, not their hands.
-Keep your home clean and disinfected as usual.
-Avoid touching your face, and teach your kids the same.
-Avoid traveling to highly infected areas.
-Avoid going to places where there are a lot of people.
-Start giving the kids vitamins to boost their immune system.
These are just some things you can do to try to keep your family healthy and safe. And don’t forget, try not to google too much about COVID-19, it’s ok for you to want to know how to prevent it, but don’t let it make you paranoid. That is not healthy for you.
Until next time, my darlings, please stay healthy and safe, I love you, and I will talk to you soon.
XOXO
