Hello, my darlings. Let’s just start by saying, my family loves polenta. I mean, we really, really love polenta. We can eat it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, that how much we love it. And it is so easy to make. When cooking polenta, the usual ratio is 1 part polenta to 4 parts water. The best part about polenta is that it goes so well with so many dishes. It is such a versatile dish and did I mentioned so deliciously. It can be sweet or salty or even spicy. The taste is even better when you add butter in it while cooking. I swear to you, it adds so much flavor.
Ingredients: 4 cups of water, 1 teaspoon fine salt, 1 cup polenta, and 2 teaspoons of butter.
Bring water and salt, and butter to a boil in a large saucepan. Then pour polenta slowly into boiling water while whisking, constantly, until all polenta is stirred in, and there are no lumps. Reduce heat to low and simmer, whisking often until polenta starts to thicken, about 5 minutes. And you serve it.
